Miss World 1951, the first annual Miss World pageant, was held on 29 July 1951 at Lyceum Theatre, London, UK. 21 delegates from Great Britain and 5 from foreign countries; a total of 26 contestants, competed for the inaugural Miss World. The winner was Kiki Håkansson, Sweden.

3rd runner-up : Sabine Aime di Angelo Netherlands
4th runner-up : Aileen Chase United Kingdom
