Hil Yesenia Hernández Escobar is from Castro, Chile and was born in 1984. She was crowned in Manila, Philippines making her the first Miss Chile to win Miss Earth. She has also represented her country in the following pageants: Miss Model of the World South American Queen, Miss World Chile 2003 and Miss Earth Chile 2004.
